Tether Unveils Open Dataset and AI Application
Tether Data unveils world's largest AI training dataset, Genesis I, on QVAC platform.
The USDT issuer’s division, Tether Data, has introduced the world’s largest synthetic dataset for training AI models, Genesis I, on the QVAC platform.
What if anyone could train world-class AI—without big tech, without billions?
Introducing QVAC Genesis I:

The product comprises 41 billion text tokens in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Each token is a minute fragment of language, the building blocks AI models use to understand and generate text.
“By learning from 41 billion such tokens in the QVAC Genesis I dataset, artificial intelligence grasps not just words, but also connections and logic,” the release states.
According to the developers, all data has been verified against educational and scientific standards, with the primary aim of countering AI centralization.
The dataset is public—Tether has invited researchers to create models capable of competing with closed systems like GPT-4 from OpenAI, Google’s Gemini, or Claude from Anthropic.
New Application
Simultaneously, Tether Data has launched the QVAC Workbench application—a comprehensive environment for local AI work on various types of devices. It supports different language models, including Llama, Medgemma, and Qwen, and is available for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Introducing QVAC Workbench
Run powerful AI models directly on your device—no cloud, no compromise.
🧠 Private by design
📱Mobile + Desktop
⚡ Instant responses
🔗 Seamless peer-to-peer handoff
Think locally. Work privately.
Carry intelligence with you.

A key feature is that all chats and interactions with AI are fully owned by the user and are not transmitted anywhere.
QVAC Workbench also includes a “delegated output” feature, allowing connection from a mobile device to the desktop version to utilize the computing resources of stationary workstations.
“Intelligence should not be centralized. Through QVAC Workbench and Genesis I, we open the door to infinite intelligence—AI that lives, learns, and evolves locally on your own device. We believe that intelligence, like information, should be free, accessible, and belong to everyone, not locked behind corporate walls or sold as a service,” stated Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.
In May, it was first reported that the company was launching a personal AI. In October, the firm introduced an open-source wallet development kit.
