Trust Wallet Integrates Prediction Markets

Kalshi partnered with CNN and confirmed a $1bn raise

Trust Wallet, the crypto wallet owned by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, has added a section for trading on prediction markets to its interface.

“Eligible users can browse events, take positions on their outcomes (for example, ‘yes’ or ‘no’), and track how they develop — all within their existing Trust Wallet,” the project’s blog says.

The first integration is the Web3 protocol Myriad, launched in March. Kalshi and Polymarket will be added soon.

Interest in prediction markets continues to grow. In October, a native integration with the Polymarket platform was announced by the developers of MetaMask.

“Wallets are becoming the centre for all kinds of trading — not only tokens, but also information, opinions and expectations. Users should not need five apps to express a market position. That should happen where they already store assets and trade,” said Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen in a comment to Cointelegraph.

Kalshi’s new collaboration

On December 3 Kalshi signed a partnership with CNN. The media group’s journalists and analysts will gain access to the service’s data to assess the likelihood of political and cultural events.

CNN will integrate Kalshi’s metrics into its broadcasts and launch a real-time news feed based on them.

In early November, Google announced an integration of Kalshi and Polymarket. Data from these platforms will be built into search results as part of an update to Google Finance.

Earlier, independent researcher Jane Manchun Wong discovered in the Coinbase app’s code a hidden interface for trading stocks and prediction markets, pointing to a possible integration with Kalshi.

The platform also teamed up with the Solana ecosystem. It is expected to tokenize “thousands of its prediction markets.”

Kalshi is working with the DFlow and Jupiter protocols and developing new “Kalshi Builder Codes”. These will “seamlessly monetise applications on top of the platform’s global liquidity pool.”

“Trading terminals, weather sites, AI agents… anything you want to build can now earn fees and rewards proportional to volume,” the team noted.

An $11bn valuation

Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour confirmed reports of raising $1bn at an $11bn valuation.

The Series E funding round was led by venture firm Paradigm. Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz and Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest also participated.

“Kalshi replaces arguments, subjectivity and talk — with markets, precision and truth. We have created a new way to perceive information and interact with it,” Mansour said.

The team will direct the proceeds to integrations with new brokers, partnerships with news agencies and an expanded product line.

In addition, Kalshi co-founder Luana Lopes Lara has been recognised as the youngest self-made woman billionaire. In the Forbes ranking she surpassed singer Taylor Swift.

A record month

In November, the combined turnover of Kalshi and Polymarket approached $10bn — an all-time high for these platforms.

Monthly volume on the former rose 32% — from $4.4bn to $5.8bn — marking the largest absolute increase. The latter jumped 23.8% — from $3.02bn to more than $3.7bn.

Polymarket resumed operations in the United States after settling disputes with regulators.
