Insider reveals Twitter interface for accepting crypto payments.
A third-party developer Alessandro Paluzzi published screenshots of an interface that allows adding Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses to a Twitter profile to receive donations. There is no official confirmation yet.
#Twitter is working to allow you to add your #Bitcoin and #Ethereum address to your profile to receive tips via the Tip Jar feature 👀

According to Paluzzi, cryptocurrencies will become part of Tip Jar, through which users of the social network can support their favourite bloggers. The service allows adding external links to accounts in third-party payment systems. As of writing, it operates in limited access.
Earlier Paluzzi said that for Bitcoin payments via Tip Jar users will require a Strike app account on the Lightning Network. He reposted this with Twitter’s head of development Kayvon Beykpour. The tweet was accompanied by the note ‘soon’.

CEO Jack Dorsey also in June hinted at integrating the Lightning Network into BlueSky or Twitter. In 2019 he made a similar statement regarding integrating the solution into the Cash App.
In July 2021, Twitter CEO called Bitcoin one of the three key trends shaping the future of the social network, alongside artificial intelligence and decentralisation.
In August, Dorsey spoke about work on the open TBD platform to create a decentralized Bitcoin exchange on top of his payments company Square.
