Michael Saylor sees Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high within four years

Founder of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor, forecast that the price of digital gold would rise above the all-time high of $69,000 in the next four years. This is reported by MarketWatch.

He is confident that Bitcoin has bottomed in the current bear market and expects its price to rise to $500,000 in the next decade.

Saylor said he personally owns 17,732 BTC, which he bought at about $9,500 roughly two years ago. Thus, the value of his investment in the leading cryptocurrency exceeds $165 million.

He also said that Bitcoin has a strong case to replace gold as a store of value due to its resistance to government control.

Earlier, MicroStrategy purchased an additional 301 BTC for $6 million. The average purchase price was $19,851 per BTC.

As noted, Michael Saylor is a well-known bitcoin advocate. He describes the leading cryptocurrency as the most trusted thing in a volatile world and a global reserve asset.

On August 8, Saylor stepped down as MicroStrategy’s CEO, remaining chairman of the board. His post was filled by Phong Le.
